Teenage boy quick portrait

On the way home from work today,  I was standing at the center of the train inbetween 2 connected coaches while playing a game on my phone. There were these 2 teenage boys standing across of me that were constantly looking over at me. Feeling a little uncomfortable I looked over only to see them staring at me with this smug look on they're faces- at first I was really annoyed and would've loved to have flipped them like tables at a restaurant with them flying like spaghetti and salads - but I decided to just stare at them (mind you sometimes doing that here would be asking for a punch across your face)- they instead looked away, I ended up looking at them for awhile and realized they were wearing this sad look on their faces- I ended up drawing one of them really quickly- while making up stuff as to what might have happened to them- here's a portrait of one of em-

Tablet doodle

I was recently given a samsung tablet, the 8.0 sized one- since then I've been messing around with this app called sketchbook- its pretty decent for a free drawing app- with layers, a colour picker and it even has some decent brushes- here's one of the sketches I did recently on the train, home bound- well it can't beat photoshop of course :P It had a mirror setting to the app and it was pretty fun to mess around with especially since you could turn it on or off-sounds cheating doesnt it? Personally though, its just a fun way to get ideas especially for patterns and front views-

So...made a self portrait..... well sorta looks like me >_> - maybe could've added more character hmm- Either way-!
I made this so it could be used as an avatar later on. I was going for the Tetsuya Nomura's final fantasy character portrait (avatar) styles- ( He's just sooo good D: ) but yesss- gonna start painting this soon!

Also here's some of my old sketches from a previous blog (It's gone now, been replaced with this)! Yes I'm trying to fill this one up! so sue me >:P

These were done on the train. It usually takes about an hour to get home, the best time to practice when all your time is sucked up by travelling- these sketches weren't anyone in particular, just random figments of thoughts- done in a sketchbook with 2B pencil
